"IF YOU'RE READING THIS" ONLINE PROMOTION AT WWW.TIMMCGRAW.COM FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILIES OF SOLDIERS

10/2/07

NASHVILLE- October 2, 2007- Tim McGraw has created another special opportunity with his song "If You're Reading This" with a new promotion on his website, www.timmcgraw.com, which will begin October 4.

Friends and families of soldiers can upload photos, post stories or make comments about their loved ones in the military. This page will serve as a living memorial to the US military's fallen soldiers and a place to honor troops.

The website will also include a live performance of "If You're Reading This."

"If You're Reading This" was debuted at the ACM Awards in May of this year and has since been added to McGraw's current platinum-selling album LET IT GO.

My son Cpl.Tim Roos was killed in Iraq,7/27/06.I feel this was his goodbye to us. I was there with his wife when Gunnie told us,His older brother and Tim played war when they were little and he followed in his dad's footsteps(infantry Marine). They had a baby girl two weeks before he was killed and she has his temper! He told me if anything happened,Iwas to tell her to move on with her life.He was buried in a cemetery on the edge of our township. This is Timmy's Song!. Tim's Momma

The first time I heard "If You're Reading This" I was driving and had to pull over because I couldn't see the road through my tears. Thank you for a powerful and moving song. May God bless and protect all our soldiers fighting for our freedom. We thank you for your courage and the sacrifices you make to keep us all FREE. Our son, Ryan, deploys for Iraq in January. Please pray for his safe return.

Thanks for the song If your reading this. It hit home with me because my 1st husband died down in Iraq on June 8th,2005 and he left behind myself ,his mom and Our three year old daughter. Every time I hear it I can relate to it. The first time I heard it I cryed and everytime since. And Almost everything that was said in the song related to me and I did go on like the song said and I know that is what he would have wanted . Thank you again for that beautyful song.

Hi this Crystal and on here I am angelpeyton and I choose that name because of my son Peyton Anthony McDaniel past away at five months and thirteen days old after being born premature. At my son's funeral I had one song played and the song was If You're Reading This by Tim McGraw. I love that song and it touched my heart more than any song would and I play that song everyday.I will never forget the song and I wanted to say thank you for making a song that seemed to be better and at the right time. Thanks Crystal

My son is in Iraq right now. He has lost many of his brothers. This song is beautiful and always makes me cry. I like it because it isn't political. It just speaks to the heart and honors all those that have died in the name of freedom.

My husband is currently serving his first deployment with the National Guard in Iraq. A few weeks after he left we found out that we were going to have our first child together. Just 2 days ago I miscarried. This has been a very heartbreaking, trying time for our whole family and we miss our soldier , husband & father tremendously. We pray for his safety and quick return home as well as to all the other heroes currently sacrificing everything to protect our country. God bless you all. Gerry we love & miss you SO much.

While studying one evening I heard this song. It spoke to my heart. My son was 22 when we buried him “on the hill outside of town’. We miss him everyday. Thank you for speaking what our hearts are feeling.

I just wanted to say I lost my dad several years ago. He was a veteran of WW2. He did not die in the war but it doesn't change the fact that his condition was caused by the war. He passed when I was very young and this song feels like he is talking to me from heaven. I miss my dad greatly and I cry every single time I hear this song. Thank you very much Mr. Mcgraw for producing this wonderful tribute to those who fight everyday for our freedom.

Everytime I hear this song I cry. It feels like my husband is talking to me, saying things that he did not get the chance to say. I also like for my girls to hear it so they know that they are not alone. At the time he was killed, he was only 27. We had a 5 year old and 1 year old. This song is just one that really talks to us. THANK YOU

I think that this song is beautiful, but it also plays on fears,I dont think that it was intentional. This song is such a reality for military families. Its beautiful for those that have passed, but at the same time it feels like a time bomb. My husband is overseas and has been for over 7months. My best friend is in Iraq. I am scared and when I hear this song it makes me think too much.We put on happy faces for the public but the tears that come are painful & burn and to hear this song too much, hurts. I am very proud of the military and the families. We are a tightnit family that others will NEVER understand. I am proud to be in this family and so is my husband! Semper Fi
