I am humbled that someone would take the time to write a tribute to our soldiers. All I can say is thank you. I am both a Disabled Veteran and a wife of a soldier. I was blown up in Pakistan. The person I was with did not survive. He saved my life. Every time I hear this song I cry. I have to stop whatever I am doing and just cry. To both say thank you and heal. You see I was a combat medic. So I saw many of my friends, fellow soldiers and child victims of a war they don't understand. I saved some but not all. I have attended more funerals than I care to admit. My husband was a pall bearer at 3 just last year. What a gift, thank you, thank you.
