My father in law was carried as MIA from the Vietnam War since 1965 in Laos, we did not know what happened to him. My husband @ the time was 10.He just disappeared. The government finally started to look in Laos and found an old crash site in a remote area on the side of a mountain. A team from Hawaii (JPAC) went several times and finally found human remains. An id was made in 2005 it was indeed his Dad after 40 years he was coming home. In August 2005 we went to Hawaii to escort the remains back to Texas for burial here that had been positively id'd and the remains that were co-mingled were interred @ Arlington National Cemetery in September 2005.
